Curriculum – PSHE and RSHE
At Oakley Cross Primary School we recognise the value of PSHE as it helps children to be safe, healthy and prepared for life’s opportunities.
The curriculum helps our children aspire to achieve their personal best in every aspect of school life and be the person they want to be.
We follow 3 key themes
- Health and Wellbeing
- Relationships
- Living in the Wider World
As part of the PSHE curriculum we have a whole school theme each half term. Each theme incorporates our school values, British Values, careers, financial well being, celebration days and enrichment opportunities.
The themes chosen match our school local context and the values we believe are the most important for our children.
