EYFS

At Oakley Cross, our first aim is to welcome the children into a warm, friendly and supportive environment in which they can learn, play and develop their personalities and talents.

We have high expectations for all children and aim for them to be happy, achieve their potential and have the best possible start in life.

Our Curriculum starts in Early Years. Teaching themes are based around chosen core texts which engage children and give opportunities to learn through curiosity and play.

Should you require a nursery place for your child, please do not hesitate to contact the school.  You can arrange to visit, have a look at our setting and ask any questions you may have.

Nursery admissions are made directly to our school and not through the Local Authority.

We will provide nursery education for children from the age of 2 years.  Parents must meet eligibility criteria to access one of these places for free.  We also offer additional paid sessions on request and subject to space in nursery.  For more information contact the school.

Blossom Class

Our Reception class at Oakley Cross is called Blossom class. This is our first year at school and it is where our personalities, interests, knowledge and understanding can blossom.

Throughout their time in Blossom class, children will experience a wide range of activities and opportunities that will enable them to become life long learners and achieve our ‘Oakley Outcomes’. Take a look at out Reception Oakley Outcomes Below:
